When you get one

The moment you complete a course (all lessons + final exam passed), your certificate is generated automatically and appears under My Learning.

What's on it

• Your name as you want it displayed
• Course title and credit hours
• Your credential number for each applicable body (PTIN, CPA license, etc.)
• A unique serial number and a SHA-256 integrity hash
• Issue date and expiration

Verifying a certificate

Every certificate has a public verification page at /certificate/<serial>. Employers, state boards, or the IRS can check a serial (or the integrity hash printed on the PDF) and see the certificate is genuine — no account needed. The page re-verifies the cryptographic hash on every view.

Downloading

• Download a branded PDF anytime from My Learning — it never expires.
• Certificates for CE credit are valid for one year from issue (IRS renewal cycle). My Learning shows a countdown so you can plan your renewal.

If a purchase is refunded

Refunding a course purchase revokes the certificates issued from it. Complete the course only if you intend to keep it.
